Vladimir Putin wheeled out his most senior TV propagandist to warn Britain of the threat of the dictator unleashing a nuclear attack on London.
The Russian president is likely getting ‘fed up’ with being taunted by the West, warned Dmitry Kiselyov, 70, seen as the tyrant’s trusted mouthpiece.
‘If Britain does lift its restrictions on Kyiv for strikes with British Storm Shadow missiles deep into Russian territory, then from now on [they] could face a nuclear response,’ he said, referring to Putin recently announcing a rewriting of Moscow‘s rules for use of its doomsday weapons.
‘And, by the way… Britain itself will also become a legitimate target for our hypersonic Dagger [Kinzhal missiles] if its [Storm Shadows] are launched deep into Russia. Daggers can be armed with both conventional and nuclear warheads.’
Speaking on state TV, he added that Britain would not be able to say it had not been warned. ‘And London would do well to remember that the British Isles have no missile defence system at all,’ he threatened.
