In the article (SURFRAD data etc.) they are telling us that they have measured the “Greenhouse Effect”—”downward LWIR flux commonly known as the greenhouse effect”—locally, or whatever. Of course that is just wishful thinking. If it were real, the adiabatic lapse rate (ALR) and temperature gradient of the troposphere would just be a myth. Dinosaurs would have never existed, and the thermodynamic laws would just be a joke.
