For the glory of God

Video: Unraveling the Scriptures
⚠️ Important Notice: This film is based on the Book of Genesis, the first and oldest record of the Holy Scriptures. To recreate the most complete and profound story of humanity’s origins, the narrative also drew inspiration from ancient traditions preserved in the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees — texts that enrich and expand the biblical account of Creation up to the threshold of the Exodus, revealing even the enigma of the Nephilim, the giants who walked the earth before the Flood.

The Book of Judges (Chapters 1–21) tells the story of Israel’s darkest and most turbulent years following the death of Joshua. With no king to lead them, the Israelites repeatedly turn away from God, falling into a devastating cycle of rebellion, oppression, repentance, and deliverance.

As Israel abandons the Lord and worships the gods of the surrounding nations, powerful enemies rise against them. Yet whenever the people cry out for help, God raises up judges — extraordinary men and women chosen to deliver Israel from its oppressors.

From Othniel’s first victory to Ehud’s daring assassination of King Eglon, from Deborah and Barak’s triumph over Sisera to Gideon’s impossible victory with just 300 men, the Book of Judges reveals how God delivers His people against overwhelming odds.

The story reaches its most dramatic moments with Samson, a man set apart from birth and gifted with extraordinary strength. His battles against the Philistines, betrayal by Delilah, imprisonment, and final act of sacrifice become some of the most unforgettable events in the Old Testament.

But as the generations pass, Israel descends further into idolatry, violence, and division. The final chapters reveal a nation torn apart by moral corruption and civil war, exposing the devastating consequences of a people who have forgotten their God.

The Book of Judges is a powerful story of faith, betrayal, courage, divine judgment, and mercy — revealing both the weakness of humanity and the enduring faithfulness of God

Discover the complete biblical story of Solomon, the king remembered for extraordinary wisdom, immense wealth, the construction of the temple in Jerusalem, and one of the most striking contradictions in the entire Bible.

Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba, and his rise to the throne came during a tense moment in Israel’s history. After becoming king, he faced the enormous responsibility of ruling a growing kingdom and asked God not for riches or long life, but for wisdom to govern the people well.

That request defined the beginning of his reign.

Solomon quickly became famous for his ability to judge difficult cases, and one of the clearest examples came in the dispute between two women over a child. His decision amazed Israel and established his reputation as a ruler with unusual discernment.

His fame eventually spread far beyond the borders of the kingdom.

Under Solomon, Israel entered a period of prosperity, trade, major construction projects, political alliances, and international influence. Jerusalem became the center of a powerful kingdom, and the wealth connected with Solomon’s court became legendary.

The greatest project of his reign was the construction of the temple.

Built in Jerusalem, the temple became the central place of worship for Israel. At its dedication, Solomon prayed before the nation and acknowledged that even the heavens could not contain God, while asking that the prayers of the people would be heard.

The visit of the Queen of Sheba became another symbol of Solomon’s international reputation. She traveled to test him with difficult questions and was overwhelmed by his wisdom, the organization of his kingdom, and the wealth she witnessed.

But Solomon’s story did not remain one of uninterrupted success.

The same king celebrated for wisdom gradually made decisions that contradicted many of the principles he understood so well. His growing number of marriages, political alliances, wealth, horses, and foreign influences began to shape the direction of his reign.

According to the biblical account, Solomon’s wives eventually turned his heart toward other gods.

The man who built the temple of the Lord also allowed places of worship connected with foreign deities to appear. The king who had been given extraordinary wisdom slowly moved away from the loyalty that had defined the beginning of his reign.

This is what makes Solomon one of the Bible’s greatest contradictions.

He understood wisdom, yet did not always live according to it. He knew the dangers of divided loyalty, yet allowed his own heart to become divided. He reached levels of success few kings ever achieved, but many of his later choices created consequences that would outlive him.

In this complete biblical exploration, we follow Solomon from his rise to the throne through his request for wisdom, his famous judgments, the construction of the temple, the expansion of the kingdom, the visit of the Queen of Sheba, his immense wealth, and the spiritual decline that marked the later years of his reign.

We also examine how Solomon’s decisions affected the future of Israel.

After his death, the kingdom that had reached such extraordinary prosperity would soon divide. The tensions that emerged during his reign would become part of the crisis faced by the next generation.

Why did Solomon ask for wisdom? How did he become so wealthy and influential? Why was the temple so important? What caused his spiritual decline? And how could the wisest king in Israel make choices that ultimately damaged the kingdom he had helped build?
