Kamala Harris has taught us in recent interviews that all you need to do when facing a tough question is to answer, “I grew up in a middle-class household.” Didn’t do your homework? Remind your teacher you were born in the middle class. Didn’t take out the trash? Remind your wife you were born… wait for it… in the middle class.
Now it’s up to you to decide whether a daughter of a mother who was a biomedical scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a father who is an economist and professor emeritus at Stanford University is “middle class.” What is clear, however, is that she forgot about her roots on her recent visit to the southern border—you know the one, it’s where she and Joe Biden laid out a welcome mat for illegal immigrants to cross into our country.
According to multiple reports, she wore a necklace worth a whopping $62,000. Can you say, “out of touch?”
It’s not just a necklace around her throat (one that she’s worn before), it’s an albatross, as the NY Post so aptly put it:
The border crisis has been an albatross around Kamala Harris’ neck — and now her jewelry is too.
The Democratic presidential nominee was snapped Friday at the southern border in Arizona, trying to look tough on one of her major political weaknesses as she walked near a razor-wire protected fence in the town of Douglas, chatting with an agent from US Border Patrol.
Harris, 59, was wearing dark sunglasses, a brown jacket over a black top and dark colored pants, and sporting what critics claimed was a $62,000 necklace from Tiffany’s.
Seriously, Kamala? Can you even spell out of touch?

Democrat nominee Kamala Harris was panned over her “completely staged” visit to the southern border on Friday and the phony photo op was underscored by the gaudy expensive necklace that she wore.
Ever since she was tabbed to be the “border czar” by outgoing President Joe Biden, Harris was uninterested in doing her job even as hundreds of thousands of criminal illegal aliens poured into the country, but her handlers are gaslighting America into believing that she now cares about the crisis only weeks before the election.
During what was Harris’ first actual trip to her area of responsibility, she met with Border Patrol agents in Douglas, AZ and briefly walked along a border fence strung with razor-wire with the veep wearing dark clothes, a brown jacket, heels and sunglasses, enough to pass for a Hollywood version of a tough female president but something was out of place.
Some low-information voters will swallow her public relations stunt hook, line, and sinker, but her woman of the people act was so fraudulent that she didn’t even bother to put on something less elitist than what according to critics, was a $62,000 gold chain Tiffany necklace.
The jewelry item does look similar to the “Bold Graduated Link Necklace” featured on Tiffany & Co.’s website although its unclear whether the veep’s necklace was indeed the pricey version from the elitist retailer, a more expensive version from elsewhere, or a cheap fake like her candidacy.
