If the civil government, whether Federal, state, or local, is vacuuming up all your personal information- where you travel, what you spend money on, who you speak to, and a mind-numbing amount of data on the smallest details of your life- is this a power that we the people have actually granted to them?
Some would claim, “So what? If you are doing nothing wrong, what do you have to hide?” Is this how our Founders thought about the God-given rights which they sought to protect with the Fourth Amendment to our Constitution?
