Kamala’s Disgraceful Offer to Hurricane Helene Victims

Published October 3, 2024

It’s another Biden-Harris fiasco, where their incompetence and inability to do the job is leaving scores of flood-ravaged victims across the southern United States lingering in fear. These people have lost everything. Hundreds are missing, and the death toll has crept up to nearly 200 people. It’s one of the deadliest hurricanes to strike the United States, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency doesn’t have the money to cover disaster relief for this hurricane season. Why? Well, this administration diverted FEMA cash to shelter illegal aliens (via The Federalist):

The Biden-Harris administration took more than a billion tax dollars that had been allocated to the agency responsible for American disaster relief and used it to offer services for illegal immigrants.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated nearly $364 million in the fiscal year 2023 and $650 million for the 2024 fiscal year to the “Shelter and Services Program” “to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS),” according to the government’s website.

The program is run in cooperation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) “to support CBP in the safe, orderly and humane release of noncitizen migrants from short-term holding facilities,” FEMA’s website reads.

Biden-Harris earn high grades in government mismanagement:

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris surveyed the damage, did her photo opportunity, and later offered $750 to disaster victims. It’s insulting, and maybe those checks could’ve been greater if we weren’t wasting money giving illegal aliens cushy accommodations and free rent while also sending billions to Ukraine.

RELATED: Biden, Harris Comments in Hurricane-Affected Area Raise Questions and Anger, Elon Wrecks Them in Tweet

Published October 3, 2024

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got around to going to North Carolina and Georgia on Wednesday to review the damage from Hurricane Helene.

But in the face of all the devastation that has happened in the region, what Harris had to say seemed to be pitifully lacking.

Just as Biden did in Maui after the huge fire there when he promised $700, Harris promised a paltry sum of $750 payment to people, some of whom may just have lost everything.

If you lost your home, that would barely pay for a few days in a hotel and food for a family. And you can apply for it online, she said. Assuming you had power.

Many sounded off on this statement from Harris, raising questions like how much money has been given to Ukraine? Or to all kinds of services and assistance for illegal aliens? $750 is a pittance by comparison.

Meanwhile, Biden, the generally absent leader, was in North Carolina. Watch how slow he is taking his seat, while all around him are moving at normal speed.

Then it was shameful that he used the hurricane to attack any American who didn’t hew to his climate chance cult mantra.

He should be concentrating on helping people, not pushing his political agenda. Imagine Biden calling anyone else braindead. By the way, this is the same line that he delivers after every hurricane.

But then Biden said something else that took some nerve. He spoke about directing Starlink systems to help communication in the affected areas.

Biden’s FCC revoked the SpaceX Starlink award, or the systems could have been in place to help out already, Elon Musk said.

And what about the $42 billion for the broadband initiative to help rural areas? The Biden-Harris team hasn’t connected anything yet.

Trump spoke about the great need to Musk and Musk said they were deploying more systems to areas of need.
