That’s why the wind and solar scammers are like perpetual subsidy drug addicts. Cut the subsidy stream, mandates and tax breaks and the smart money soon drifts elsewhere.
By their very nature rent-seekers are looking to extract those rents from the political class, who gouge them from unwitting taxpayers, and keep them coming.
