Eight Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded in a vehicle collision in southern Lebanon, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
The incident occurred near the Lebanese village of Rab al-Thalathine in the Marjayoun area during operational activity, according to the IDF and Israeli media reports.
An initial military investigation found that two Israeli military vehicles collided. The soldiers were members of the IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade.
Six of the wounded soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, while their families were notified. All eight soldiers were reported to have suffered light injuries.
