Iranian media outlets have published maps identifying potential targets across Israel and seven Arab countries, outlining infrastructure that could come under attack if the United States or Israel launches another military strike against Iran.

The maps, reportedly released by Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency on October 31, cover eight countries: Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Oman.

According to reports, the identified locations include ports, airports, power stations, water treatment and desalination facilities, and other strategic infrastructure. Additional target categories reportedly include hotels, shopping centers and communications infrastructure.

The publication of the maps has drawn attention amid renewed tensions between Tehran, Washington and Jerusalem.

Reports Identify Potential Targets

Shafaq News reported on October 31 that Fars News Agency had published maps outlining potential retaliation targets in the eight countries. The report noted that Iraq was excluded from the published list.

Hilal Times reported on November 1 that Iranian media outlets had circulated maps described as “Zero Hour,” identifying facilities that could become targets if the United States or Israel attacks Iran again.

The Times of India also reported on November 1 that an Iranian video presented potential target categories across the eight countries, including energy facilities, transportation infrastructure, desalination plants, hotels and shopping malls.

Hilal Times additionally cited reports from RT Arabic and Egypt’s Masrawy concerning the categories of infrastructure identified in the maps.

Potential Retaliation and Military Warnings

The publication of the maps comes amid statements from Iran’s leadership concerning preparations for a possible renewed confrontation.

Shafaq News reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei had instructed the country’s armed forces to prepare for an immediate response to threats, without geographical restrictions. The report also said military commanders were directed to update potential target lists involving US and Israeli assets.

Separately, Israel Hayom reported on November 1 that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was identifying additional targets and considering operations in new geographical areas in preparation for a possible attack against Iran.

The reports indicate that Tehran is signaling a willingness to broaden the geographical scope of any potential retaliation. However, the publication of target maps does not establish that attacks against all the identified locations have been ordered or will take place.

Regional Security Concerns

The inclusion of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Oman raises concerns about the potential consequences of another military confrontation involving Iran.

Several of the countries identified host important energy facilities, transportation networks and military installations, making the security implications significant for the wider Middle East.

Any attacks affecting oil and gas infrastructure, ports, airports or water facilities could disrupt regional operations and have consequences beyond the countries directly involved.

For now, the published maps represent identified potential targets rather than confirmation of an imminent Iranian attack. The circumstances under which Tehran would carry out any such operation remain uncertain.
