President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Iran’s ruling regime is “getting weaker and weaker by the day,” as Washington continues applying military and economic pressure on Tehran and speculation grows over whether the United States could support an uprising inside Iran.
Trump’s comments, reported by Breitbart, came one day after he called on Iranians to “rise up and fight” against their government. He suggested the regime could be approaching the limits of its ability to withstand mounting pressure.
